Lampshade in cotton and sugarcane fiber blend or cacha bagasse handwoven by Kanya, abaca and Bengala (Guinea Fowl) feathers bound with piñatex from the Maison Métisse Atelier; Buddha belly bamboo trunk in fiberglass resin and bound with piñatex.

Inspired by the Kango traditional Ifugao headdress that is typically created with the skull and beak of a hornbill, chicken feathers, woven material, rattan, and the Bul-lul or rice god, the piece dates back to Pre Colonial times. In variations, they are worn by shamans, in wedding ceremonies, or by a village chief during planting and harvest season.
